Terms and conditions

The service

• Static codes are free, unlimited, and need no account. The content is stored in the code itself, so they keep working without /qr.
• Dynamic codes need an account. They point to a short link on /qr that forwards visitors to your destination, which lets you change it later and see scan analytics.

Your account

You must be at least 16 to create an account. Give a real email address, keep your password safe, and tell us if you think someone else has access to your account. You’re responsible for what happens under it.

Plans and payment

• The free plan includes 3 dynamic codes.
• Paid plans will be Starter: 20 dynamic codes for $2.99/month; Pro: 50 dynamic codes for $5.99/month; Unlimited: unlimited dynamic codes for $9.99/month. They are billed in advance each month and renew automatically until you cancel, and cancelling stops the next renewal.
• We’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice before changing the price of a plan you’re paying for.
• If you downgrade or cancel, every code keeps working. Codes above your new plan’s limit (the newest ones) can be paused or deleted but not edited, and you can’t create new codes until you’re under the limit.

Acceptable use

You may not use /qr to:

• link to phishing, malware, scams, or anything that tricks people;
• link to illegal content, or content that sexually exploits minors or promotes violence or hatred;
• infringe anyone’s trademarks, copyright, or privacy;
• send spam, or hide where a link really goes in order to deceive people;
• attack, overload, scrape, or try to get around the limits of the service.

We can pause or remove codes, or suspend accounts, that break these rules, without notice if needed to protect people. To report a code, email privacy@yourdomain.com.

Your content and scan data

You own the content and logos you upload. You give us permission to store and display them only to run the service for you.

Your dynamic codes collect limited data about the people who scan them, as described in our privacy policy. You’re responsible for using that data lawfully and, where required, telling your visitors about it.

Availability, and what happens to codes

We work to keep dynamic codes online, but we can’t guarantee uninterrupted service. A dynamic code stops working if you pause or delete it, delete your account, or if your account is suspended. If we ever shut down /qr, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice so you can replace printed codes. Static codes are not affected by any of this.

Our software

The /qr name, website, and software belong to us. You can use the codes you create for any lawful purpose, including commercial use.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided “as is”. Always test a code before printing it. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or reprinting costs, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can’t be limited by law.

Ending the agreement

You can stop at any time by deleting your account in Account settings. We may end or suspend accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. For significant changes, we’ll notify account holders by email at least 14 days before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia, without removing any protections the law of your country gives you as a consumer.
